Review:
This is a book that will challenge the reader to look at the purpose of their marriage differently. It looks at how we can use the challenges, joys, struggles and celebrations of marriage to draw closer to God and to grow in Christian character.

This is not a book about improving your marriage, or your spouse - personal spiritual growth is the main theme; marriage is simply the context where it can happen. If embraced, this book's message will certainly change you. Whether your marriage is currently delightful or difficult, you can offer it to the Lord as the doorway to a closer walk with God and ultimately transformation. Being married forces us to face some character issues we'd never have to face otherwise. This book challenges us to allow God to help us identify, through our marriage, traits, attitudes and habits He wants to transform to be more like Him. If I truly begin to believe the primary purpose of marriage is to model the love between Christ & the church, I will enter and maintain this relationship with new motivation!
