Your First Visit

A Church with the Community at its Heart

A Warm Welcome!

We are so glad that you are considering a visit to West Highland where you will experience vibrant worship and Bible-based preaching.
September-June: We have two identical Sunday services, the first at 9:00 A.M. and the second at 11:00 A.M.

During the summer (mainly July & August) and on special holidays, we have one Sunday service at 10:00 A.M.

Each service is about 75 minutes long.

On many Sunday evenings from 6:00 to 7:15, we have Bible classes (TREC - Training and Equipping Christ-Followers). TREC has interesting semester-
based classes for adults and youth (grades 1-12). Click here for the current course offerings.

  • West Highland is easily accessible and has ample parking. Click here for directions.
  • Come as you are -- which means dress however you feel comfortable. You will see some who wear dress shirts or skirts and others who feel at home in jeans.
  • Be sure to visit the Welcome Centre in the Foyer and pick up our Welcome Brochure & CD which introduces you to our Ministry Team and outlines many of the ministries and programs we offer.  It's our gift to you as a "thank you" for visiting!
  • When you enter the Auditorium, you will be greeted and provided a bulletin, a program that gives an overview of Sunday and upcoming events. If needed, our ushers will help you find a seat that suits you.
  • Once seated, please fill out a Welcome Card located in the seat pocket/pew rack ahead of you.  We would love to have a record of your visit and it's also a great opportunity to let us know how we can serve you best.  Completed cards can be placed in the offering plate when it's passed or hand it to someone at the Welcome Centre following the service.
  • There are Bibles available in the seat/pew racks and you can follow along with the music and announcements on the large screens at the front of the Auditorium.
  • For families with children, we offer a STAR Kids worship and learning program (click here for info on STAR Kids).  Nursery and programs for children up to JK/SK start at 9:00 A.M. & 11:00 A.M. on the lower level (10:00 A.M. in July & August).  Children in Grades 1-6 will be dismissed from the Auditorium during the service. If you have any questions when you arrive, please inquire at the Children's Welcome desk on the lower level or ask an Usher. Please plan to arrive early and head to the Children's Welcome desk on the lower level so that we are prepared to receive your children and set up a communication link with you for the morning.
  • For families with teenagers, we offer two ministries. Our Jr. High Ministry is called IMPACT and is for Grade 7 and 8 and our Sr. High Ministry is called ELEMENT and is for Grade 9-12. Both groups meet on Wednesday nights from 7-9 P.M. for worship, Bible study and awesome activities. Each ministry has two annual retreats and regular monthly events.
